Find the volume

Find the volume of the solid by graphing the functions and shading the bounded region. A solid is described as follows:

  1. the base is the region bounded by y=e1.6x, y=1.6x2 + 0.7, x=1.
  2. every cross section perpendicular to the x-axis is a square.

In this video I make the offhand comment that e^1.6x is e^x with a vertical stretch by a factor of 1.6. That would actually be true for 1.6e^x. But for the actual e^1.6x, the transformation is a horizontal compression by a factor of 5/8 (the reciprocal of 1.6). Here is some confirmation of that fact: desmos.com/calculator/gwgxk9zye3
