I'm guessing you want to find the percent increase in the number of employees, which is
[ (Employees at end) - (Employees at beginning) ] / (Employees at beginning)
which is then multiplied by 100 to convert to a percentage. In this case that is
[ (124 -115) / 115 ] * 100 = (9/115) * 100 = 0.07826 * 100 = 7.826 %
