"X" and "Y" person leave their separate homes at same time to go to same final location. "X" person drives 30mph. "Y" person drives 20mph. "X" person arrives at a same final destination 0.5 hour earlier than "Y" person. What is distance that "X" person lives from the same final destination and What is distance that "Y" person lives from the same final destination?

x = 30mi./hr. y = 20mi./hr. x arrives 1/2 hour earlier than y. 1 1/2 y = 30 miles from location.
x = 30 miles from location. It took y a half hour longer (10 miles) to get to the location. y = 30 miles from location.
