Here is a step-by-step process you can use to write homograph sentences:
- First define the homographs with all of their meanings:
- present can mean now, a gift, or to show
- Use more than one of the meanings in a sentence:
- There is no gift like the now.
- BONUS (use all 3 meanings) : Now, I show you your gift.
- Convert the meanings to the homographs:
- There is no gift like the now. --> There is no present like the present.
- Now I show you your gift. --> In the present, I present your present.
