A 100kg bag of salt is lifted from the ground to the top of a 50m building by a rope of negligible mass. There is a hole in the bag and the salt leaks out at a rate of 0.5kg for each metre the bag is raised. Find the work required to lift the bag to the top of the building. (Note. assume the acceleration due to gravity is 9.8 m/s2).

Hi Ghazal,
Please pardon my sluggishness in the video. It's quite late here. My answer is assuming that you are familiar with the formula for work, line integrals, and the basics of physics (such as free-body diagrams). If you need further explanations about some of the concepts at play here, I'm happy to chat about scheduling a tutoring session for you. Good luck!
