evaluate the difference quotient for the given function

f(x)=1/x , f(x)-f(a)/x-a



It's late and im stumped on this question, please help anyone!

is there anyway you can rewrite this, im having difficulty putting everything together

and think, if x approaches a, then the value is derivative of f(x)=1/x at x=a or whala -1/(a^2)=f'(a) for f(x)=1/x
