Simplify the expression.

Any help would be appreciated, I dont know how to start or finish this equation.

1. To simplify the exponent on the x we must consider powers and roots.
2. Roots: In your problem this is the cube root, these go in the denominator of the exponent
3. Powers: In your problem this is 8, these go in the numerator of the exponent
4. For the x you will get x^(power/root) = x^(8/3)
5. Left with 1/x^(8/3)
6. Next, it is simpler to put all exponents of x in the numerator
7. All exponents in the denominator can be put in the numerator and multiplied by -1
8. Example: 1/x² = x^-2
9. Just do this to your fraction and you are set.

PS for fractions/quotients the numerator is the value on top and the denominator is the value on bottom.
