A cubic Centermenter = 1 milliliter thus:

1 gm / CC (1 CC / mL) = 1 gm / mL

Next we need to get gm into mg. There are 1000 mg in 1 gm and thus

1 gm / mL ( 1000 mg/ 1 gm) = 1000 mg / mL

(20 mg / min ) /( 1000 mg/mL ) = 0.02 mL / min
