The area enclosed by the curve y2 = x(1 − x) is given by

 2 times the integral from 0 to 1 of x times the square root of the quantity 1 minus x, dx 

2 times the integral from 0 to 1 of the square root of the quantity x minus x squared, dx

 4 times the integral from 0 to 1 of the square root of the quantity x minus x squared, dx
