Math and Statistics need not be scary
Assumptions: "Fair" means that the chances of landing on one side is the same as landing on the second side and that there is no chance of landing on the edge. (Also assuming that only one of the sides has a 'head')
OK, why state the obvious. Because with statistics and probability, every answer comes with assumptions. They may be assumed and not mentioned, but they are there.
OK, THE EASY PART
Chance of first coin getting a head = .5 (50%)
Chance of second coin getting a head = .5 (50%)
Chance of third coing getting a head =. .5. (50%)
Chance of all three getting a head is the product of all the probabilities. i.e. .5 * .5 * .5 = .125
