I'm assuming that the region is the area between f(x) = x2 and g(x) = x3.
The intersection between the two curves is:
x2=x3
x2(x-1) = 0 --> x = 0,1
Area = ∫ab f(x)-g(x) dx = ∫01 x2-x3 dx
