When x=1.2 (6/5) then y=36/25
The slope at x=6/5 is 2*6/5=12/5
The point slope form is 12/5 = [y-(36/25)]/[x-(6/5)]
The fractions are a nuisance, so BE CAREFUL!
I am not sure where your confusion is.
The point slope form may look unfamiliar, but it is just messy with all those fractions.
Try it this way:
First write a single fraction in the numerator and denominator and then invert the denominator to get
12/5=(25y-36) * 5 /[25*(5x-6)]
Now multiply by 5 and divide out the 25
12=(25y-36)/(5x-6)
Now cross multiply
60x-72=25y-36
Now you should be able to get it into a form comfortable for you.
