This is a simple y=mx+ b linear equation
Here, the b is 0, so the intercept is at the Origin, or (0, 0)
We also know that the slope is (-1/2), So we know that for every 2 unit increase in the x value, we have a 1 decrease in the y value ( which is evident in both the graph and in the table).
start by making a table for X and Y values
x------------y
-2 1
-1 .5
0 0
1 -.5
2 -1
Once you plot these points, you should have downward sloping straight line going through the origin and also passing through any of the points from the chart.
