Hi Shwati N., Wyzant has trashed your question format, if any! Please comment to amend, and provide your function in a standard type font, such as "2x^4 + x^2 - 7 + x^6" if that is what you meant it to be. Although, it would be better (then) as "x^6 + 2x^4 + x^2 - 7", keeping the terms in descending powers of x. -- Cheers, -- Mr. d.12/04/20
