10+ years with Calculus from undergrad and on
doing the integral gives us:
2kx^2 - 5kx from 0 to k or
2k^3 - 5k^2
We require 2k^3 - 5k^2 = k^2 or with k != 0,
2k - 5 = 1 =>
k = 3
The answer is C, k=3
