When you say "Brand Equity", many things like, Brand Reputation, Goodwill, Customers, Annual Sales, Assets, Net Worth, Market Value, etc. comes into the play.
So, you can either get a good understanding of the Brand Equity (in financial sense) from the company's annual financial reports, if the company is public.
Or, you can simply check the market value and brand equity of other competitors of the company and calculate company's brand equity using it's market share.
