IF by "doubles" you mean both dice have the same number, then you're asking what's the probability of two fours. One four on one die has Probability = 1/6. Square that to get the probability of two fours = 1/36

There are other ways to get 8 with two dice. 2 and 6, 3 and 5. Hard to see how you'd call them "doubles" tho.
