For these types of problems you have to divide the number of possible successes by the total number of possible outcomes.
We have 30 possible outcomes (1-30)
We have 6 possible successes, the multiples of 5 (5,10,15,20,25,30)
If we divide 6/30 we get the probability that a random number pulled is a multiple of 5
