6.50g + 81 - 9g = 72, -2.5g = -9, g = -9/-2.5 = 3.6 pounds of granola and nuts. Checking the answer: 6.50(3.6) + 9(9 - 3.6) = 72, 23.4 + 48.6 = 72.
