someone please help

I have to sketch a graph for the rational equation with all asymptotes included where are the asymptotes and what points work for drawing the graph

F(x)=X^2-4/x^2-3x+2

Michael H.

I'm gettin vertical asymptote x=-1 and a horizontal asymptote y=2 but if that's right I should have 2 sketches my 1st set of pts. Plotted work for x=(0,.5,1,1.5) y=(-2,-1,-.5,-.2) but the other side of the graph is killing me

F(x)=X^2-4/x^2+3x+2 I apologize I didn't realize it was the wrong symbol the equation should have been + 3x.

In the case,

Vertical Asymptote

(x2+3x+2) = 0
(x+1)(x+2)= 0

x = -1 , x = -2

Your vertical asymptotes are x = -1 and x = -2

Horizontal Asymptote remain the same.
