As N gets bigger, the 8 and the 32 get closer to 1. Which would give a denominator of 0. So this is not correct

8^1/n would become 8^0 as n gets bigger and bigger, which would make it approach 1, which is the same as what would happen to 32

You're completely correct and that's my fault. Not sure what I was thinking. In this case, we can think of the limit as existing at -1. If you graph it, you can see that all the answers are very, very close to it.
