the first thing you need to do is decided whether this is a disk or washer. It's a washer so your formula will be V=pi*(integral of) R2-r2 dy. this problem is with respect to y because the axis of rotation is vertical. The next step is to identify big R which will be right (the line x=1) - as far left as you see shading (y=2 fourth root of x) you will need to convert that equation to an x= you cannot leave as is . Little r will be right (the line x=1) to the closest you see shading (the line y=2x but you will use x=y/2). Next you will identify your limits (a-b). In this case they are a=0, b=2).
