The probability of rolling 4 on a spinner depends on how many numbers there are on the spinner. If there are for example six numbers, 1 through 6 on the spinner, then the probability of landing on a 4 would be 1/6.
Since there are six possible results of rolling a die, the probability of rolling a 6 is 1/6.
Since those two events (spinner, rolling a die) are independent events, the probability of landing on a 4 on a spinner and rolling a 6 on a die would be the product of the individual probabilities.
