Hi Xavier. The logarithmic form of 3, to the negative 2 power, = 1/9 is log (lower case 3) 1/9 = -2.
What you need to remember is to put log first, followed by the base number (3) in lower case form. Follow this with your answer in exponent format (1/9). Then set that = to the exponent that you were given (-2).
