outside temperature over a day can be modeled as a sinusoidal function suppose you know the high temperature of 60 degrees occurs at 5 pm and the average temperature for the day is 55 degrees find the temperature to the nearest degree at 10 am

I guess the avg temp of a day is at 14:00; in this case 55°. At 17:00 the temp is 60°.

5/3=1.66°/hr

1. 4 =-6.66

+ 55=48.33°
