use laws of cosine to determine the distance between Hana and Dyani (c)
c2 = a2 + b2 - 2abcos(A)
c2 = 82 + 102 - 2(8)(10)(cos55°)
c = 8.49869 m
Now using laws of sine,
sinA/a = sinC/c
Sin A = (sin(55) x 8) / 8.49869
A= 50.45º

do you work left to right on this equation? c2 = a2 + b2 − 2ab cos(C)05/21/20
