Question

The first card of a 5 card draw must be a face card (jack, queen, king). The next 4 cards must be anything but a face card. In how many ways can the cards be drawn?

The probability of the first draw is 12/52 - twelve face cards out of 52 cards.

The probability of the next (non-face) draw is 36/51 - thirty six non-face out of 51 (a face has been removed)

The probability of the next (non-face) draw is 35/50

The probability of the next (non-face) draw if 34/49

The probability of the next (non-face) draw if 33/48
