show that sin 3 is approximately pie-3

sin 3 is a radian.

i used the formula

l(x)=sin(a)+cos(a)*(x-a)

i used 3.1 to estimate sin 3

l(3.1)=sin(3.1)+cos(3.1)*(3-3.1)=.1414941775

pie-3=.1415926536

is this enough or the right way to show that sin3 is approximately pie-3 ?
