we have y=-x-6

The given line is in slope intercept foam y= m*x + c

Where slope m= -1

Then slope of required line = -1/m = 1 (given that the required line is perpendicular to y=-x-6 )

And the given point is (-9,-4)

Now we have required to put these value in the point slope foam of line

which is ( y - y _{1}) = m( x - x _{1})

y - (-4) = 1 *(x - (-9))

y = x + 5 (This is the required equation of line )
