Let,
x = number of minutes that elapsed
the 1st pool contain 1900 liter of water
so after x minute
25.25* x + 1900
the second pool contain 1645 liter of water
so after x minute
32.75*x + 1645
Amount of water of pool 1 after x minute = Amount of water of pool 2 after x minute
25.25 * x + 1900 = 32.75 * x + 1645
1900-1645 = 32.75x -25.25x
255 = 7.5x
x = 34
The first pool will have a total of 25.25 * x +1900
25.25 * 34 +1900 =2758.5 liter
The second pool will have a total of 32.75 * x +1645
32.75 * 34 +1645 = 2758.5 liter
After how many minutes will the two pools have the same amount of water?
34 minutes
How much water will be in each pool when they have the same amount?
2758.5 liters
