Since there are 4 fives and 4 sixes in a 52 playing card deck, excluding these 8 possible outcomes leaves 44 ways in which to draw something other than a 4 or 5. Since there are 52 possible outcomes, the probability of drawing something other than a 4 or 5 is 44/52 or 85%.
