Midpoint : (6,2)

The y value increases by 7 from endpoint to midpoint (2-(-5))=2+5=7

increase it by another 7 to get the other endpoint (6,9)

The midpoint is halfway, right? We find it by adding the x-coordinates and dividing by 2, and the same with the y-coordinates.

((6 + x₂)/2,(-5 + y₂)/2) = (6,2)

(6 + x₂)/2 = 6

6 + x₂ = 12
