Find the average value of f(x)=x^3 on [-1,1]

I understand that this is the formula 1/(b-a)∫ f(x) dx but im having trouble plugging in the values correctly. Any light on the subject would be much appreciated!

so i came up with this equation 1/2 ∫[-1,1](x^3)dx. I don't know how to put in the definite integral on this page but did i set up this equation correctly?
