 Please research and share a current Constitutional issue from the news headlines. In other words, if this issue was before you as a Supreme Court Justice, how would you decide the matter from a Constitutional interpretation standpoint?

The US Supreme Court just ruled unanimous juries are required at least for serious crimes.

the justices split every which way, with dissents, concurrences, and no clear legal reasoning that might be used as a precedent.

There's a 24 page ruling, and then a 24 page dissent, as if the dissent had originally been planned as the majority ruling, with a justice or two making a last minute switch.

Most states already require unanimous juries in criminal cases.
