Where's the rest of the question? Conductive hearing loss vs sensory hearing loss are two different things. Think of structures instead of pathways. Sensory hearing loss involves destruction of the neuronal pathway to picking up sound, like tumors or loss of hair cells due to constantly loud noises or aging (presbycusis). Conductive hearing loss involves destruction of the physical production of sound within the ear that can be transmitted: tympanic membrane rupture (eardrum burst), brittle inner ear bones (diseases like Osteogenesis Imperfecta), too much fluid in the inner ear (Meniere's Disease), Ear infections, etc.
