Since this function isn't factored we don't have to use chain rule or foil. Go ahead and take the derivative using the power rule. After you take the derivative, evaluate it at the x-value that's given in the problem (this will give you the slope for your tangent line). Now that you have the slope, and the coordinate point that's given (-2,-5) you can use point slope form to get the tangent line.
