I'm going to assume that "(4mo2 - 8n2 ) (16mo2 + 12mno2 – 5m)" is (4mo2 - 8n2 ) (16mo2 + 12mno2 – 5m)
A very nice way to multiply polynomials is using a generic rectangle like this:
Then, just multiply the corresponding pieces and fill in the rectangle. The upper left box is 4mo2 x 16mo2 which is 64m2o4. The completed rectangle looks like this:
Then look for any "like-terms" but in this case there are none. Then write it out:
64m2o4 + 48m2no2 - 20m2o2 - 128 mn2o2 - 96mn3o2 + 40mn2
Repeat this process on the others.
