Hi Erick,
The general equation of a parabola in vertex form is
y = a(x-h)^2 + k, where (h,k) is the vertex
vertex at (2,2), y=a(x-2)^2 + 2
point (3,-1) on the graph, -1 = a(3-2)^2 + 2
solving for a, a= -3
so equation is y = -3(x-2)^2 + 2
