It sounds rare, which is a relative term, but when you think about it, the odds are quite better than winning the lottery.
The child must be born on some day of the year and there are only 365 of them (not considering leap years). The couple must have been married on some day of the year and once again there are only 365 of them.
The chance of the child being born on any one day is 1 out of 365 (assuming the couple's behavior is random).
Thus the chances are 1 out of 365 that the child will be born on their anniversary. Lot better than your chances of winning the lottery!
