Hi Twana,
Domain basically is the set of numbers the variable can take and still be defined. The variable x in both of your functions take any real number and, because of that the y, the dependent variable, also will include all real numbers as its range. Therefore 
Domain(f(x))=Domain(g(x))=(-∞,∞)
Zero(f(x))=>6x=0=> x=0
Zero(g(x))=>x+8=0=> x=-8
I don't know what you mean by f(-4,5)
