The formula for midpoint is x = (x1+x2)/2 and y=(y1+y2)/2
Plugging in values we get:
x = (-3+1)/2 = -2/2 = -1
y= (1+5)/2 = 6/2 = 3
Putting them together the solution is (-1,3)

BE SURE that you compute (x1+x2) / 2 and likewise for y. The parentheses are very important !07/22/19
