Given the table below for selected values of f(x), use 6 left rectangles to estimate the value of


the integral from 1 to 10 of f of x dx.

x | 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10

f(x) | 4, 8, 6, 10, 10, 12, 16


Which of the following values would be obtained using 5 midpoint rectangles of equal width to estimate the integral from 0 to 1 of x squared, dx?

Assuming that the function is integrable on [1,10], the sum that I used is a Riemann Sum approximation of the integral using left endpoints of the subintervals as given in the table [f(1) = 4, f(3) = 8, f(4) = 6, etc].
