Hi there! A CNA is a certified nursing assistant. An LPN is a licensed practice nurse.
CNA's usually have around 3-4 weeks of training and clinical practice, whereas an LPN has at least one year of schooling, and takes and passes the NCLEX, which is the national testing standard for LPNs. They are then licensed to practice in their state as a nurse.
CNAs also take a certification, and they have to demonstrate that they are competent, and are then certified by the state in which they are located.
Hope this information helps!
