If I consume cannabis and walk across the state line, can I get arrested?

Cannabis is legal in some states. In others, not so much. So if I am in a state where cannabis is legal, smoke it and walk across state line, without taking any with me, just in me, can I get arrested for smoking it in a place that was legal?

Sadly, this is a widely misunderstood conception. The FEDERAL government has not made marijuana legal. Thus, while if you are not carrying paraphernalia, drugs, or operating a vehicle, though it would be hard to prove), you would be breaking Federal law, which always trumps state law.
