how do i graph tangent trig functions

My pre calculus teacher is making us use her way of tangent function graphing using 

 

Undefined, (-1, 0, 1, Undefined so basically finding your maximas and minimas which is easy enough for sin/cos but how do i graph these? I cannot find these answers anywhere my test is in 4 hours HELP

The tangent function is undefined at the radian measures x = ..., -5pi/2 -3pi/2, -pi/2, pi/2, 3pi/2, 5i/2 ...

The graph will have vertical asymptotes at each of the listed x-values.

Between -pi/2 and pi/2 the graph will pass through the points (-pi/4, -1), (0, 0) and (pi/4, 1)

Between pi/2 and 3pi/2 the graph will pass through (3pi/4, -1), (pi, 0) and (5pi/4, 1)

The graph repeats this pattern between each pair of vertical asymptotes.
