coul an animal adapted to live in an ecosystem at the bottom of the rocky mountains survive in an ecosystem at the top of the rocky mountains? explain your answer.

If it is an aquatic animal living then it would not survive on the top without water unless the animal is adapted to terrestrial life. In general, Oxygen at higher altitude is different and so is the temperature. If it is warm-blooded animal then it can adapt to change in temperature. The food and feeding habit need to be considered as well. If there is a compatibility then animal would survive and if not, then it would not.
