Try graphing y=3. To do this, make a table of x and y values. If x=1, y=3. If x=2, y=3. If x=3, y=3. If x=4, y=3. If x=5, y=3. If x=200000, y=3. And so on. y is always equal to three.

 

Plot all of those points. You should get a horizontal line that goes through the point (0, 3). (Remember that (0,3) means x=0 and y=3.)
