Fast alternative for Adobe Reader on Windows?

Can anyone recommend me a good alternative for Adobe Reader ? I need a software that is fast and light which works on Windows.

Although not too many people know about it, Microsoft Windows has the XPS Printer and Document reader built in. In essence, it's a competitor to Adobe PDF. See this article (below).
