And as far as gear goes, that’s more subjective in the eyes of the user. When I’m doing production, it’s a must that I have a 49 key midi board and 16 drum pads. Sometimes that comes as a combo and sometimes not. I encourage you to take a trip to guitar center and get familiar with some keyboards and drum machines and see how they fit your work flow.
