It depends! You can learn to edit out all of the breaths, EQ the vocal, de-ess sibilance, etc.
But it's all a matter of productivity. If you have to do this for every single episode, it might take you 5x as long to finish an episode than if you had a professional taking care of this while you focused on content. Also, you have to be careful not to wear yourself thin. Taking time to edit and learn how to edit just takes away time that could have been spent researching, interviewing, and recording episodes!
